Walking about Paris is a fantastic way to see the French capital. I know…I’ve done it many times.

Walking about Paris is a fantastic way to see the French capital. In fact, you can see just about everything in the city by foot and Metro.
On my several visits to that beautiful city, I’ve walked more than I have in any other. And enjoyed every minute of it, from early morning to late at night.
And being a photographer, I’ve found Paris to be a great treasure trove for photos, everywhere I’ve gone. On each trip I discover many new places, but still return to the old and familiar since I can never seem to get enough of them and always see them in a different light.
What you’ll see below are photos I’ve taken of Paris over the years as I’ve gone about on my little jaunts. You can see many of these places on self-walking tours. If you haven’t done it already, you should read two articles — Where to Find 8 Wonderful Walks in Paris and A 2-Day Walking Tour of Paris, With Map. Both will show you where you can take some very interesting Paris walks that will bring you back to the city again and again.
First though, wander the streets of Paris with me, as you meander through the gallery below.
