There’s no place like Bangkok, Thailand anywhere in the world…

Bangkok is an exotic, colorful, raucous city of vibrant street life and exotic street food, a place where royalty is loved and respected above all else. It’s also home to 8 million Thais, who are among the gentlest people on the planet.

Aside from its horrendous traffic, Bangkok’s problem is that it has so much to see. In fact, it’s an incredibly beautiful city.

At the top of the list is the spectacular Grand Palace, a colorful royal cluster of buildings, once a self-sufficient city within the larger city.

Beyond there’s the colorful and chaotic Old City, overflowing with temples with golden Buddhas and myriad saffron-robed monks and crowded markets bursting at the seams.

On the streets, as you’d expect, there’s no shortage of street food prepared on the spot. And everywhere you turn you stumble over centuries of history.
