A former New Yorker now living in Florida, Marjorie Kean’s travels as a child were confined to exploring the wilds of Central Park in New York City. After graduating from college, however, she joined the Peace Corps and lived in Seoul, Korea.
Upon her return from Korea, Marjorie continued her exploration of the world after moving to Mexico City, where she resided for ten years.
Her work as a business consultant subsequently took her through the remainder of Latin America and Europe. Her next foray into the business world brought her to Caracas, Venezuela, where she resided for 16 years.
Marjorie has traveled to, and pursued personal moments of discovery throughout, Asia, North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Antarctica. She loves languages, foods, and culture and enjoys exploring new territories. Marjorie tries to accompany her husband, Jim, as frequently as possible on his travels and often appears in his photographs.
